The maximum size of a poster should be A0 = 84,1 X 118,9 cm (portrait format).
The posters with odd numbers will be presented during the poster session 1 on day 1, Wednesday, July 5 from 6:40 PM.
The posters with even numbers will be presented during the poster session 2 on day 2, Thursday, July 6 from 12:40 PM to 3:00 PM.
Please put up your poster on the assigned posterboard during registration in the morning of the first conference day and remove it at the end of the conference. Remaining posters will be discarded. Presenting authors are required to be available for discussion during the poster session.
The SBHD Organizing Committee is pleased to announce two awardees as recipients of the CSB2 Prize in Systems Biology, kindly sponsored by Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, and the Anne Heidenthal Prize for Fluorescence Research, kindly sponsored by Chroma Technology Corp..
Carsten Marr from the Institute of Computational Biology, Helmholtz Zentrum München, will receive the CSB2 Price in Systems Biology for his contributions to the development and application of innovative new modeling and computational methods as judged by their technical quality, broad utility and theoretical insight.
Jeffrey Moffitt from Harvard University will receive the Anne Heidenthal Prize for Fluorescence Research for his seminal contribution to the development of single molecule RNA FISH imaging technologies. The prize is awarded annually in memory of Anne Neumeyr-Heidenthal, a molecular and cell biologist at Chroma Technology Corp. The Anne Heidenthal Prize recognizes young scientists who are advancing the field of quantitative biology through the use of fluorescence and advanced imaging technologies.
The awardees will receive their prize and present their work at the award lectures on Friday, July 7. Further details on the program can be found here.
